Files for IRS 501(c)3 non-profit exemption status. This will be done once adequate funds are donated to cover the costs of filing fees with the IRS. Filing will be handled, online, since these fees and approval time are less than filing via mail.

Until we obtain our own IRS status, we will reach out to another like-minded organization to piggy-back their exempt status.

Begin conducting regularly scheduled conversational discussions, in the Longmont area, for parents of children and adults with ASD to openly discuss concerns regarding autism in adulthood, community-wide needs to create more inclusion, and general needs and concerns of families.

Meet with St. Vrain School District Superintendant, Front Range Community College staff, Longmont City Manager (& Mayor), Local Chamber, Area Economic Council, Longmont & Boulder County Housing Authorities, Launch Longmont, TinkerMill Makerspace leaders, and other area employers, community & non-profit leaders to introduce program(s) and create partnerships.

Plan the conference to be held at the MEETING PLACE conference center in the Longmont Marriott center from April 8-9, 2016, during Autism Awareness Month. This conference will offer brainstorming sessions and workshops for adults with ASD, professionals, and community leaders. The conference will work to create a more inclusionary community environment where adults with ASD can work, live and grow as a vital part of their own communities.

Develop & produce video and information to launch an initial GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to finance initial start-up costs to include IRS filing fees, basic marketing expenses, and cubicle space rental at the Launch Longmont entrepreneurial incubator.
